Traveling Tummy: London Calling Part 1

Well, actually it was Suffolk calling at first. I went straight to Ipswich from Heathrow when I arrived last Thursday and spent a few days there. I have been eating well, and eating heaps since I arrived here and I'm glad I'm in London now, because aside from seeing old friends...in London, I walk...and walk...and walk. Hopefully that will combat the holiday pounds.

Stayed at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel. Cute room, and 6 pillows. Too bad I was sick and jet lagged. But really, what better place to be sick in than a nice hotel room?

The view from my room. It was a really pretty place.

Reading chair. I think Abdul would like this.

My first night's dinner: Salt and Chili Calamari with linguine

Main: A huge order of lamb with potatoes and beans and some sort of courgette and something puree. It was really good but I was just so full.

Not too full for Sticky Toffee Pudding though- my favorite dessert in the world. So good that I have Sticky toffee cupcakes on my Birthday Cafe menu!

And this was only Day 1. God help me and my weighing scale.
