Gastonomic Gifts Week 6

First of all, Congrats to Week 5 winners Kat Dideles for Mochiko ice cream---> Good Luck on your mission to try all flavors, and Ellie for Gino's Brick oven Pizza--> I love Feta too!

For Week 6, we have a sweet treat and GCs to a gastropub in Makati!

The first is a sampler box from Baked Bites. I blogged about their yummy Food for the Gods and moist brownies! All you need to do to win is answer this question on the comments section of this post: What is your favorite baked treat and why?


The 2nd is a P500 GC to The Balcony Gastropub in Legaspi Village. I absolutely LOVE their sisig here (topped with aioli) and the twin mac n' cheese.     my favorite baked treat are cupcakes!! I love all kinds of cupcakes, I wish I can taste yours as well haha! but since this is a different giveaway I hope I can taste Baked bites food for the Gods :)

    What is your ultimate comfort food?

    My ultimate comfort would be PAN DE SAL. You can pair almost everything to this simple piece of bread. You can eat it with gourmet cheeses, butter, peanut butter, Nutella. For an All-Pinoy treat, you can have coco jam or a cup of tsokalate. You can also eat it as is. And, you can have it in the morning as your breakfast, merienda in the afternoon or as midnight snack.

    My ultimate comfort food would have to be what my cousin calls THE BASTOS BURGER. As in a juicy, mouthwatering burger with lots of bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, blue cheese, and a gazillion calories--nothing less for a no-holds-barred burger!

    Even the thought of it is already comforting. :D

    What is your favorite baked treat and why?

    My favorite baked treat would be soft, moist and chewy chocolate chip cookies. They're the perfect pick-me-upper on a bad day, a great companion when curling up with a good book, and a happy exclamation point to any meal.

    I'm looking forward to trying the Baked Bites treats and see if they bring as much happiness as choco chip cookies. :)
